Sardimar is one of the leading seafood processing companies in Latin America, enjoying a position as the market leader in specialty tuna and sardine products throughout Central America and the Caribbean.
In order to ensure the clean seas in which their specialities swim Sardimar awarded AQUA to design and build an anaerobe waste water treatment system. The sludge out of this systems is treated in a sludge fermentor ensuring energy efficiency. The design of the anaerobic part of the system was executed together with our partner Global Water Engineering.
