The cold storage is fully integrated with the slaughterhouse, both from carcass transportation as well as dataflow into the management system. This enables the cutting and deboning room to receive the right carcass at the right time based on customer input. This system also guarantees full tracking and tracing of the carcass. The cold store has a capacity of 2,000 pig carcasses.
The cutting & deboning room is designed to run continuously and incorporate the latest technological advances. Tracking and tracing of the meat is controlled by electronic chip integrated in the tray. From carcass to the system of palletising and shipping according to the customers requirement in the trays.
