Order from Madagascar: MPS meat processing systems to supply new slaughterhouse for Tiko

The total investment of the project will be several million Euros and can be considered as a state-of-the-art export slaughterhouse. The premises are designed with its complete hygienic program according to European standards and the production of meat products according to the maximum shelf life conditions. The new plant will be constructed in Antananarivo, the capitol of Madagascar.
The site construction works already started during July this year and the production with the new lines is scheduled to be in the spring of 2009.
At the same location Tiko is constructing a brand-new animal protein recovery facility where the waste materials from the various slaughtering-and deboning lines will be recovered into valuable animal protein, and the site will contain also a poultry processing facility and an education centre.
