The meat plant of Gzella Sp. z o.o. in Osie, Northern Poland has expanded their footprint last year in order to allow the automatic tray handling systems, tray storages with single place buffers and the order picking stations divided over 2 floor levels.
Currently the new addition is started up and expected full operation
will be by the end of February. At that moment Gzella can serve their more
then 600 customers daily with the average of 70 tons in meat and sausage
products, based on a short order handling and paperless commissioning.
Truck loads are picked from the warehouses in logical order with a minimum
handling.
