Bell AG, established in 1971, slaughters and processes mainly pigs, cattle and calves from the near surrounding area. The new slaughterhouse construction complies with EU-standards. The company has an EU-Export-Number.

Focussed on the future
Bell AG called for high demands in the building of the new slaughterlines: hygiene, ergonomics and animal friendly stunning is the core idea.
Because of the robust and compact way of building, the installations of MPS comply to the highest hygiene-requirements, as the only one in the business.
The excellent ergonomics of the installation has been attained by using specially constructed lifting platforms, that can move both horizontally and vertically.
For the stunning of cattle and calves Grieder and MPS developed a complete new animal friendly and safety combi stunning-box. |

Condensation scalding
The heart of the installation consists of the MPS developed hanging Condensation Scalding installation. Based on laboratory tests and technical improvements we attained very good results relating to:
- scalding quality
- cleanness
- colour of the animals

Improvements for the slaughter process
In the new line, that was designed to the latest views regarding ergonomics for slaughterhouse lines, the separate process actions for the slaughter personnel have been optimized.
The line offers the highest possible comfort to the personnel on the work place.
Because of these optimizations the quality of the work, the production, the hygiene and the energy consumption have been greatly improved. | |
